Upper Face Exercises

Do these upper face exercises every day, but avoid over-doing them. In other words, there is no additional benefit for going overboard. Follow the recommended instructions for each:

To Improve Your Forehead Area

  1. Tiny Face / Wide Eyes - Alternately frown, bringing your eyebrows close together, then lift them up while opening your eyes as wide as possible. Repeat this 5 times.

  2. Ceiling Stare - Lying on your bed, face upwards, let your head be slightly off the edge of the bed, but not so much as to cause any neck tension. Lift your eyebrows up as high as possible while opening your eyes wide. Repeat 10 times.

  3. Nostril Flare - Sit upright looking forward. Bring your eyebrows down and towards one another while flaring your nostrils. Hold for a count of 10 and repeat 5 times.

To Improve Your Eye Area

  1. Eye Blink - Press gently on both temples with your fingertips while blinking rapidly. Repeat 5 times.
  2. Eyes Closed - Sit upright and while keeping your eyes closed the whole time, look up and down, then side to side. Repeat this 10 times
  3. Eyelid Stretch - While sitting up, close your eyes and lift your eyebrows. You'll feel as though you're stretching your eyelids just slightly. Hold for 5 seconds, repeat 5 times.

As you can tell, these upper face exercises don't take much time, so you can do them every day. They will improve the circulation to your forehead and eye area, helping keep your skin nourished and moist.
